The CanadaMark hallmark program provides independent verification that a diamond is of Canadian origin. A CanadaMark diamond starts its journey from either the Ekati or Diavik diamond mine in Canada's Northwest Territories and can only be cut and polished by approved manufacturers. Each diamond must meet specific standards for colour, clarity, finish and symmetry. Every CanadaMark diamond is given a registered certificate and laser inscribed with a unique serial number.
